Facilitated Workshops

Facilitated WorkshopsAgilier strongly believes that the best way to obtain stakeholder alignment and consensus building is via facilitated workshops. We tailor our workshops to enable our participants to define their business needs or requirements according to the published workshop objectives. These objectives will vary according to the services we are asked to deliver.

Agilier has had extensive experience in facilitating workshops and we have found that they can be applied during the delivery of the majority of our service offerings:

  • Business goal and strategy validation;
  • Business process review and improvement;
  • IT project scope definition and requirements specification (Joint Application Development);
  • IT project requirements and test specification.

Joint Application Development (JAD) is a collaborative, structured workshop-based approach aimed at eliciting software requirements from a large stakeholder community in a short space of time. Agilier has had extensive experience of these kinds of workshops and we have found that the quality and accuracy of the requirements gathered is markedly superior to those obtained through one-on-one interviews.
